• The NFA item must be physically in hand at Chesapeake Gunslingers before we can submit your eForm
• We process:

How the NFA Process Works
Step 1 – Choose & Purchase Your NFA Item
Select the suppressor, SBR, or SBS you want and complete your purchase.
The manufacturer or distributor will submit a Form 3 (dealer-to-dealer transfer).
Once approved, your item will ship to Chesapeake Gunslingers.
Step 2 – Create Your ATF eForms Account
You must create an account in the ATF eForms system.
Be sure to save:
• Email used to register
• Username
• 4-digit PIN
This information is required to submit your Form 4.
Step 3 – Schedule Your Appointment
Once your NFA item arrives:
• We schedule your appointment
• Passport photo is taken
• EFT fingerprints are completed
• Your Form 4 is submitted on site
Typical appointment time: about 20 minutes
Step 4 – Wait for Approval
ATF controls all processing timelines.
We cannot expedite approvals.
Some approvals may be quick, while others can take several weeks.
